When what you thought was firm begins to shake
There are seasons in the Christian life when the things we thought we knew no longer seem certain.
A relationship breaks down.
A community we trusted disappoints us.
A conviction we held firmly is challenged.
A dream collapses.
A season of suffering leaves us confused.
Or, sometimes, we simply realise that the foundations on which we have been standing were never as solid as we imagined.
In such moments, it is possible to begin spiralling—losing perspective, losing confidence, and sometimes losing sight of God Himself.
Rooted Revival Ministry exists for those moments.
We believe that when the foundations around us shake, the answer is not to pretend that nothing has happened. It is to return to the foundation that cannot be shaken.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
— Hebrews 13:8
Our purpose is to help Christians establish—or re-establish—Christ as the anchor of their lives.
Not ourselves.
Not our circumstances.
Not other people.
Not our achievements.
Not even our understanding of how life should unfold.
Christ.
He is the Rock of Ages, the Beginning and the End, the One who does not change.
What does “Rooted Revival” mean?
For us, revival is not simply an emotional moment, a large gathering or a temporary surge of religious enthusiasm.
Revival begins when we are brought back to what is true.
It is a reorientation of the heart and mind toward Christ and His Word. It is discovering again where we stand, who we are, what we believe, and where our lives belong within God’s greater purposes.
To be rooted is to have a foundation.
To be revived is to be brought back to life, restored and renewed.
Rooted Revival brings those ideas together: helping Christians become deeply rooted in Christ so that they can live faithfully even when everything around them is changing.
A healthy view of ourselves
Part of being spiritually restored is learning to see ourselves rightly.
We can think too highly of ourselves. We can think too little of ourselves. We can allow our failures, successes, relationships, possessions, disappointments or ambitions to become the measure of who we are.
The Christian life offers a better perspective.
We are neither the centre of the universe nor insignificant in it.
We are creatures made by God, sinners in need of grace, people redeemed in Christ, and members of a body much larger than ourselves. Our lives matter—but they make sense only when understood in relation to God, His purposes and His kingdom.
Rooted Revival therefore seeks to help Christians develop a healthy view of God, a healthy view of themselves, and a healthy view of their place in the world.
Scripture at the centre
We are convinced that lasting spiritual stability cannot be built on personalities, trends, opinions or religious enthusiasm.
It must be built on the Word of God.
Rooted Revival therefore exists to encourage Christians to read Scripture carefully, think deeply, discern wisely and apply God’s truth faithfully.
We want to help ordinary Christians develop the confidence and maturity to engage God’s Word—not merely to know what Christians are supposed to believe, but to understand why they believe it and how that truth should shape the way they live.
For the Christian who needs to find their footing again
Rooted Revival is particularly concerned with the Christian who finds themselves at a crossroads.
The person who is asking:
What do I believe anymore?
Where is God in all of this?
Who am I now that the things I depended upon have changed?
How do I make sense of my faith?
How do I move forward without losing Christ?
We do not pretend to have simple answers to difficult questions.
But we believe there is a sure foundation.
Christ remains.
And so our work is ultimately about helping people return to Him—to His Word, His truth, His grace and His purposes.
Our conviction
The world around us changes.
People change.
Circumstances change.
Our understanding develops.
Our strength fails.
But Christ does not change.
That is why we return to Him.
That is why we are Rooted Revival Ministry.
Rooted in Scripture.
Anchored in Christ.
Renewed in faith.
Restored for faithful living.
